Claire, Si Bess and Florence stopped overnight – a chance to see us on their way to London see Si’s brother and partner. For various reasons they didn’t arrive until about 11.30, and so the girls (and Si!) went straight to bed, but we had a chance for a drink and chat with Claire before heading for bed at 2/00am – for me it was like working two consecutive night-shifts!
It was good to see the girls this morning, with time to play and read a story or two before they headed south. I’ve put a few photos on Our Recent Photos.
Technically we live in Oaktree House, but sadly the tree had to go.
We now have a thriving Oakstump at the front of the house.
